About Me

My name is Michael Quick

Hello! I have been a Mathematics teacher for 12 years, starting in the South Bronx of New York City in 2012 and currently teaching Algebra at Sarasota Middle School.  My philosophy of education is centered on the idea that all students can learn, all students can grow, and all students can build confidence in their math abilities. Through proven strategies, I have a history of elevating my student's scores on assessments while also improving their overall demeanor toward mathematics.

 

How do I do it?.....Create an environment where students want to go and let their excitement and enthusiasm take the lead. I look forward to helping your child take the next step in the mathematical journey.
